My visit to UCD is (almost) over. These guys will be my colleagues at UCD from June.

The conference is over today and we enjoyed the last lunch. I talked mostly with a guy from Romania who is not in this picture as he took this picture !

Banquet

いわゆるBanquetってやつで、港の近くのレストランへ。 やはりシーフードがメイン。ただ料理と料理の間があくので テーブルで「これが最後なのかな？」などという会話が 何度か交わされることに。

Computing Frontiers

The conference, Computing Frontiers 06 has just begun today. Today, there are only tutorials and no regular paper presentations. My presentation is on May 4.

Naples

Naplesというのはナポリの英語つづり。

乗り継ぎのためロンドンで4時間、 そこから2時間あまりのフライト。 到着後バス(3Euro)で写真の港に。 日本人観光客のツアーがたくさんいる。 1時間の待ち合わせの後、1時間の航海。 最終的に日本*についたのは日本の5/2午前2時過ぎ。 ということは成田を出てから31時間以上かけた 移動だったことになる。

第2ターミナルのせいか、めっちゃ混雑しているという 状態ではありませんでした。外国人観光客向け、ということか 金屏風をたてて抹茶のサービスなどしていました。
